We provide accommodation and Personal Care. This includes assistance with showering, personal hygiene, toileting, dressing, meals and medication, as well as physical and emotional support.
Golden Gate SRS caters for
- All age groups considered, current age group 45 to 94
- people with physical, psychiatric, intellectual, acquired brain injury or other disability.
- Homeless people or those who require support to live as independantly as possible
We can cater for people with scooters but cannot cater for people who are totally wheel chair dependant.
Pets may be considered depending on circumstance
We believe that all people are special with varying needs and have the right to enjoy life in a relaxed environment.
We encourage acceptance and welcome varied faiths and lifestyle choices.

The staff and residents at Golden Gate Lodge in Ararat don’t think of Golden Gate Lodge as just another SRS facility.
